Harborpointe Residence
RESIDENTIAL CUSTOM SINGLE FAMILY
10,000 GSF
PORT RICHEY, FLORIDA
This custom residence offers a private escape on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico in the deed-restricted Harborpointe Community of Port Richey, Florida. A simple brief requesting a minimal aesthetic, open plan and rich but lasting materials from a young, active family led to a simple orthogonal three-story volume with seamless connections from the interior to outdoor living and wrap around balcony spaces.
Guests are greeted to panoramic views of the gulf waters beyond as they enter the property on the second level, double-height entry with floor to ceiling windows. As you move into the second floor Living Room the 40’ wide floor to ceiling sliding glass doors pocket away to connect the living and kitchen space with the generous balcony to capture the afternoon sea breeze and postcard worthy views beyond. The thoughtfully planned residence connects the open living space and kitchen to a cantilevered dining room as you pass a glass enclosed custom wine storage room. The custom steel wine racks by ROCCHETTA A:DB provide storage for more than 400 bottles of the Owners collection. Floor to ceiling glass on three sides of the dining provide even more panoramic views of the surrounding property and Gulf of Mexico. A small mini-bar area, powder room and private theater room with luxury seating round out the generous second floor living spaces.
On the third floor the master suite offers an additional set of floor to ceiling, 40’ wide sliding glass doors connecting the suite to an expansive balcony and sun deck with breathtaking, panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico. Three additional bedrooms are located on the third level with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors accessing the wrap around balcony to maintain the connection of the interior and outdoor living spaces. The vast amount of floor to ceiling glass and sliding door systems create a unique residence capable of being opened and connected to the outdoors. Consistency in the palette of materials including crystallized glass tile, natural stones, clear-coated steel and clear glass create a clean, contemporary minimal aesthetic throughout the home reflecting the sophistication and aesthetic of the Owners.
